Thousands recruited in SED on ex-minister orders: NAB submits report in SHC

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has submitted report in court regarding illegal recruitments in Sindh Education Department.

According to report, as many as 13000 persons were given jobs in education department illegally in tenure of former education minister, Pir Mazhar Ul Haq.

The NAB submitted report in Sindh High Court (SHC) on the occasion of hearing of illegal recruitment in Sindh Education Department case.

The NAB’s Investigation officer (IO) told the court after submitting the report that 13 thousand people were hired in Sindh education department illegally on orders of former education minister Pir Mazharul Haq adding that the inquiry is being continued regarding wrongdoings in education department and soon it will turn into probe.

The NAB’s IO told the court the EDO, Mumtaz Ali Shiekh  is directly involved in the illegal recruitments adding that all evidences have been collected against the accused and inquiry will be completed soon.

On the other side, the SHC has extended bail of former education minister Pir Mazharul Haq, government officer Abdul Jabbar and Mumtaz Shiekh in case of illegal recruitment in Sindh education department against them.
