KARACHI: Police arrested three alleged terrorists among 30 suspects on Tuesday in separate raids at different areas of the metropolis city.
Police claimed to have arrest three alleged terrorists of banned outfits, gangster and a close friend of Abdul Rehman alias Bhola, the key suspect in Baldia factory fire.
According to the details, police took three alleged terrorists of a banned outfit and 23 other suspects into custody during a search operation in Pathan Colony, Site Area.
Police said the arrested terrorists belonged to Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan Khalid Khorasani group. The terrorists were identified as Abdul Rehman, Muhammad Zahid and Asmatullah. Police said that the terrorists arrived in Karachi to act upon any evil plan. Two TT pistols, hand grenade, two Awaran bombs, two kilogram explosive material, three meter detonating wire ball baring and net ball recovered from their possession.
Maripur police booked three accused in two separate raids. The police claimed to have arrested Ghulam Ali alias Goli, a close aide of Abdul Rehman alias Bhola, the key suspect in Baldia factory fire. Police said that he had confessed of two murders.
While Lyari police arrested a gangster Saddam Hussain during search operation in Shah Baig Lane. SSP City Faizullah Korejo said that the gangster belong to Baba Ladla group.
