Kasur (November 15, 2017): At least three dacoits were killed in an alleged police encounter in Pattoki, area of Kasur on Thursday night.
According to the details, a police party was taking accused Kashif and Jahangeer for recovery when their four accomplices on two motorcycles attacked on the police in Jago Wala area of Pattoki and snatched their official rifles. SHO Inspector Riaz Abbas accompanied by heavy contingents of police arrived on the scene and started chasing the dacoits.
The dacoits opened fire when the police surrounded them. Police gave befitting response to the dacoits. After one and half our shooting, two arrested dacoits Kashif, Jahangeer and one of their accomplice found dead. Police claimed that the dacoits were killed by their accomplices. The police recovered a Kalashnikov, two motorcycles and officials weapons of the police personnel from their possession.
Rescue officials shifted the bodies to district headquarter hospital.
