Three Injured as Car Plows into Crowd in France

Paris (November 11, 2017): A vehicle was intentionally driven Friday into three students outside a high school near the southern French city of Toulouse, injuring them, said the French interior ministry.

According to the details, a driver was arrested after the incident and the Toulouse prosecutor has been called to investigate, the ministry added.The vehicle accelerated as the students crossed a road, the interior ministry said. The collision happened outside Saint Exupéry high school in the Toulouse suburb of Blagnac. The hospital sources said that two students were in critical condition.

The driver has a history of mental illness and the incident doesn’t initially appear to be related to terrorism, the interior ministry said.
