Karachi (August 14, 2018): At least three people were killed and 21 others sustained injuries in aerial firing and fireworks display in various cities across the country on Monday night.
A youth was killed in Five Star Chourangi area of Karachi during the fireworks display. Aerial firing on the occasion of Independence Day in various areas of the city also claimed a life while 11 other people were wounded.

At least two people were injured in Gujranwala. In Rawalpindi, a youth was killed while eight other people were wounded in aerials firing in different areas of the city. A 15-year-old girl was among the wounded.
At least two people were wounded in aerial firing in Faisalabad on the occasion of Independence Day.
