The death toll from consumption of toxic liquor has soared to 45, 31 of whom have been buried in their ancestral areas. Many others are still fighting for their life at various hospitals.
According to details over 70 people consumed the toxic liquor in Mubarakabad Colony area of Toba Tek Singh and all of them got critically sick within minutes. Five youngsters died on the spot many others were shifted to District Hospital Toba Tek Singh and later to Allied Hospital in Faisalabad where 21 more of them died.
Meanwhile three suspects have been arrested in the case lodged by the government.
