Today Nawaz Will Go Through CT Scan: Maryam

LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz the daughter of the former premier Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday has revealed that all tests of her father will be completed till next week.

Maryam Nawaz took to Twitter and informed her followers and well-wishers that the tests of the former premier will be completed till next week.

She wrote on her timeline; “MNS’s labs/scans/investigations to be completed by the end of this week or early next week.”

“Concerned specialists being consulted,” she added.

“We should have a clearer picture of his health status & the procedures he needs subsequently,” she further said.

Daughter of the former premier also told that her father went through eco and ultrasounds and today he will go through from CT scan.

”Yesterday MNS had Echo & Ultrasound for Kidneys along with Doppler studies for Carotid Arteries & Peripheral Vessels,” she said.

“Undergoing today MRI/MRA for Carotids (Arteries supplying blood to the brain) & Renals to further investigate,” she concluded.

Earlier today, the former premier Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will visit a private hospital for his detailed medical checkup.

According to sources, the former premier will visit Al-Razi Hospital in Lahore where he will go through several medical checkups such as MRI scan, MRA scan, Doppler study, CT KUB, Spiral CT chest and others.

It is pertinent to mention here that the former premier also visited Sharif Medical City for the third consecutive time a day earlier where a team of doctors reviewed his health conditions and conducted several tests.

Earlier, It was revealed that the renal and cardiac function has been now more complicated because of the reoccurrence of angina.

Nawaz Sharif Kidney and heart-related tests were conducted while ex-premier personal doctor Dr. Adnan and senior professor and doctors examined him.

The doctors have suggested him some medicines to lower his mental tension while they also reviewed tests conducted on yesterday and advised him of complete bed rest.
