Trump Proposes A ‘Scheme’ to End Govt Shutdown

WASHINGTON: United States President Donald Trump has offered fresh plans regarding his Mexican wall project in order to end the ongoing partial government shutdown which has resulted in humongous financial as well as political losses in the last four weeks.

According to details, Donald Trump has proposed a shift in his immigration policy to get funding for the wall and end the government shutdown.

His scheme stated that if the members of the Congress provide him with the US $5.7 Billion to fund the wall, then he will provide three years of deportation relief to about 700,000 dreamers (children of unauthorised immigrants to the US).

The US President announced his new ‘scheme’ and addressed the current chaos in the US-Mexico border an in his address to the American nation.

Although, the Democrats have refused to fund it and ahead of the speech had already rejected the expected concessions, labelling his ideas as ‘one-sided’.

It is pertinent to mention that the US Government shutdown is having a rippling effect on the community as their businesses and families are trying to adjust to it.

Hundreds of thousands of federal workers who are either furloughed or working without pay are not the only ones reeling from the partial government shutdown.
