ISLAMABAD: Turkish President Reccep Tayyib Erdogan has reached parliament where he will address the joint sitting of the parliament.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also arrived at the parliament along with the Turk President.
The guest dignitary of the brotherly country will soon address the joint sitting of the parliament.
Erdogan for the second time will address the joint session of the Parliament of Pakistan.
The National Assembly speaker said that he would also hold consultations with all the parliamentary leaders of all the political parties on this matter.
The joint sitting has been summoned by President Dr Arif Alvi at 11 a.m.
President Erdogan will offer his Friday prayers at the Faisal Mosque in Islamabad and also attend the Pak-Turk Business Forum meeting.
In addition to his address before the joint sitting of Parliament today, Erdogan will also meet Prime Minister Imran Khan for discussions on bilateral, regional and global issues.
The two will co-chair the sixth meeting of the Pakistan-Turkey High Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC), which steers the bilateral relationship and are also set to speak at a meeting of the Pakistan-Turkey Business and Investment Forum.
Later, there will be a signing ceremony of the memorandums of understanding and accords finalised during the meeting.
Prime Minister Imran and President Erdogan are also expected to hold a joint press conference.
