Peshawar (May 19, 2017): Three back-to-back blasts apparently planted outside a house hit Dawood Zai area of Peshawar on early Friday morning.

As per details, the first blast occurred outside a house owned by a customs official Jahangir in Peshwar’s Dawood Zai area early Friday morning. The second blast occurred near the car of Jahangir parked outside his house. The back-to-back blast partially damaged the house.

Police said that the third blast occurred near a police van when it was leaving the site after inspecting the blats’ site.

However, no casualty was reported in the blasts.

Soon after the blasts, police and rescue officials rushed to the site and cordoned off the area.

The provincial metropolis which is bordering the tribal area of Khyber Agency has braved some of the worst attacks during the height of Taliban militancy in the province and the tribal areas.

Though, the peace has largely been restored in Peshawar and other areas of the province following the Operation Zarb-e-Azab and ongoing operation Rad-ul-Fasaad, sporadic incidents of blast and other terror incidents still occurred.
