Quetta (May 24, 2017): Unknown armed men on Wednesday kidnapped two Chinese nationals, a man and a woman, from Quetta.
According to the details, Two foreign nationals were kidnapped by unidentified men from Quetta’s Jinnah Town on Wednesday.
The foreigners are said to belong to the same family, said the police, adding that kidnapped persons include a husband and wife.

Sources said that the armed men picked up the woman and man, who are stated to be Chinese national, from Jinnah Town area of Quetta. They said that the foreigners had gone to a restaurant in the area to have launch, when they were kidnapped. The abductors forced the two foreigners into a vehicle at gunpoint and drove away.
The husband and wife, identified as Li Zang Hing and Ming Leassi Ha, were working at a Korean centre nearby Jinnah Town and had been teaching Korean language to the area residents for more than a year.
Eyewitnesses said that when a man tried to resist the kidnappers they open fire and injured him. The injured were taken to Civil Hospital Quetta.
Police and Frontier Corps personnel reached the scene of the abduction and started search for the abductors.
Further investigation of the incident is under way.
