Karachi(June 17, 2018): Joy turned into grief on the festive occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr after two family members drowned on at Hawke’s Bay beach of Karachi.
Reportedly, a family had gone to the beach to enjoy picnic in the pleasant weather on the second day of Eid, which suddenly turned into a tragedy after seven family members drowned in the deep sea, out of which five were rescued.
An Edhi spokesman said that the two youth drowned while swimming at the sunset point, were identified as Osama and Faraz. They are trying to rescue them, but have not succeeded yet.
In September, last year, twelve people belonging to a single family died by drowning at Hawke’s Bay beach.
