DADU: A local court of Dadu has handed over two men (including father of girl) for three-day physical remand to police in the case of ‘Honor killing’.
According to details, the incident occurred in Dadu’s Kacho where on 21st November, 10-year-old girl was stoned to death after being allegedly blamed for Karo Kari (term used for Honor Killing).
During the investigations, the Imam who performed the girl’s funeral prayers told the journalists and police about the murder, on which FIR was reported.
According to FIR, some relatives of the girl killed her with stones following a conspiracy. Meanwhile the parents of the girl said, that they live in a mountainous area and a heavy rock from the roof fell on girl’s head which claimed her life.
SSP Dr Farrukh Raza Malik has penned down a letter to district and session judge for exhuming the body to reach the actual reason behind the death.
