AHMEDABAD: TWO people have been killed and dozens injured after a theme park ride snapped in half mid-air in Indian city Ahmedabad.
Part of the pendulum Discovery ride collided with its main structure and the 31 people on board were sent crashing to the ground.
Authorities have said that 27 people are being treated in hospital and at least two people have died.
Disturbing images which have emerged today show bloodied bodies strewn across the ground with others trapped in their seats.
Those on board could be heard screaming for help and visitors at the park desperately rushed over to try and free those stranded.
