Lahore (March 29, 2018): A chief engineer of the Lahore Development Authority Israr Saeed and Arif Butt on Thursday confessed of their crimes and became approver in Ashiana Housing scandal.
As per details, this was revealed in the proceedings of NAB court Lahore hearing the case of irregularities in Ashiana Housing Scheme. The NAB presented report of confession of the two officials.

They said that after becoming approver officially, the chairman NAB had forgiven them. They had informed the chairman NAB of more facts in the case and new revelations had came out after their confession.
The two accused were also presented before the court where they admitted that the authority was misused in the Ashiana housing case.
Later, the two submitted request to become approver on which the court sent them on judicial remand.
