Jeddah (October 8, 2017): At least two royal guards were killed and three others were injured when an armed man attacked at the Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Saturday night.
According to the details a gunman armed with a Kalashnikov and three petrol bombs attacked on the royal guards in Jeddah.
The attacker, Mansour bin Hassan Al Ameri, 28, a Saudi, was killed by security forces on the spot, said Interior Ministry spokesperson Mansour Al-Turki.
The gunman left his vehicle and started shooting at the guards, Al-Turki said. He said they have launched investigations to probe the motive behind the attack.
