Karachi (June 14, 2017): Rangers and Counter Terrorism Department on Tuesday claimed to have arrested two terrorists among five in the metropolis Karachi.
Rangers spokesperson said that they booked three accused when they were looting people at an ATM machine in Pehlwan Goth. The accused were identified as Amjab Bangash, Malik Yasir and Muhammad Asghar. The spokes person said that the accused were also involved in street crimes. They were arrested with the help of CCTV footage.
Whereas Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested an alleged target killer affiliated with Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan in a raid at North Nazimabad. SSP Naveed Khawaja said that CTD arrested Ibrahim alias Choto from North Nazimabad, block-P. He said that Ibrahim was involved in sectarian killings. The SSP said that Ibrahim was on a run after Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad. Cases were registered against him in North Nazimabad, Manghopir and Korangi, Naveed Khawaja added.
