Rawalpindi (August 28, 2017): Security forces killed two terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in FR Bannu.
According to the details, two soldiers embraced martyrdom during a search operation in the South Waziristan tribal region near the border with Afghanistan.

The troops were conducting search operation in the Angur Adda area close to the border late on Sunday night, when the landmine went off, killing two soldiers Sepoy Atta ur Rehman and Sepoy Imran Ali.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces carried out an operation in FR Bannu.
Two terrorists were killed in the operation carried out in Jani Khel area of FR Bannu.The slain terrorists were identified as Rahimullah and Zahidullah.
It is to be mentioned here that yesterday two soldiers were martyred during a search operation near Angoor Adda area of South Waziristan agency.
According to ISPR, Sepoy Ataur Rehman and Sepoy Imran Ali lost their lives in an IED blast during a search operation under Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.Frontier Corps Balochistan also destroyed four terrorists’ camps in different intelligence-based operations on Sunday. Two terrorists were also killed during an exchange of fire in different areas including Kahan and Dera Bugti. In another IBO, FC Balochistan (South) successfully foiled a terror attack.
In the last two days, FC Balochistan (South) has busted a network of terrorists and their facilitators.
Pakistan has carried out several military operations against militants in South Waziristan and elsewhere in recent years. The army says it’s now clearing up remaining pockets in areas once used by militants as sanctuaries.
Last week, President Donald Trump demanded that Pakistan shut down safe havens for the Afghan Taliban. Pakistan says it has no safe havens for the Taliban. The demand came during Trump’s speech announcing a new strategy for Afghanistan and South Asia.
