Uch Sharif: Area Vacated after Tanker Crashes, Spills Oil

Uch Sharif (December 13, 2017): An oil tanker caught fire after getting crashed on National Highway here.

Police has cordoned off the area and is  trying to get the residential area nearby vacated as highly inflammable cargo continues seeping from the tanker.

According to sources the tanker was carrying 40,000 litres of furnace oil which continues seeping.

The Traffic Patrolling Police has closed both lanes of the National Highway to help avaoid any untowardly incident from the seeping of highly inflammable cargo.

The tanker bearing registration plate number TNB 622 was carrying furnace oil to Faisalabad from Karachi.

Police said that the oil tanker crashed near Tahirwali area.
