ISLAMABAD: United Nations President Maria Fernanda Espinosa will arrive Pakistan today on a five day visit.
It’s the first time Maria’s visiting the Asia-Pacific region as president of the UNGA.
Espinosa will meet President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan and other officials and will hold extensive talks on global and regional issues during her visit.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood will also hold a meeting with the UN President.
She is also scheduled to meet members of Women Parliamentary Caucus, chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme and visit Pakistan’s Peacekeeping Training Center.
