Islamabad (July 02, 2018): Under Secretary General, Department of Peace Keeping Operations UNO Jean Pierre Lacroix visited Centre for International Peace and Stability (CIPS), at National University of Science and Technology in Islamabad on Monday.
While interacting with students and faculty members, the visiting dignitary paid rich tribute to sacrifices of Pakistani peacekeepers for global peace and security and saving civilian lives under UN umbrella.
Earlier, Under-Secretary-General for United Nations Peacekeeping Operations Jean Pierre Lacroix met Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ in Rawalpindi today.
He paid rich tribute to Pakistani Peacekeepers for their professionalism, sacrifices and contributions to global peace efforts.
