ISLAMABAD: Mercury has dropped down to it’s lowest in different parts of the countries, leaving daily life frozen.
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. Foggy conditions are expected at a few places in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.
Temperature at the upper area Hunza remained -15 whereas, -12 was recorded in Naran, -14 in Skardu, -11 in Kalam, -7 in Bagrote and Gopas, -4 in Parachinar, Dir and Malamjabba, -3 in Drosh, Kakul, Murree and Rawalkot.
Rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills, is expected at scattered places in Quetta, Zhob, Kohat, Bannu, D.I khan, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Faislabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore divisions,Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Light rain at few places is also expected along Sindh-Makran coast including Karachi.
