ISLAMABAD: Uproar once again marred the proceedings of the National Assembly on Monday as a war of words continued between the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and opposition parties.
As the session started the speaker NA expressed anger over the lack of quorum and questioned PTI’s Aamir Dogar over the absence of federal ministers.
The speaker stopped the proceedings of the house for 10 minutes. The session resumed again after the break of 10 minutes.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) members surrounded the dice of NA speaker and protested over not allowing Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to complete his speech.
The house once again witnessed uproar when PTI’s Ghulam Sarwar at the floor of the House questioned if PIA going through a loss then why Airblue is in profit?
Shahid Khaqan demanded to send the matters of LNG and Gas prices to NA standing committees.
The NA speaker then adjourned the house till Tuesday evening.
