WASHINGTON: Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi said that United States acknowledged the efforts and sacrifices of Pakistan Army and the masses against terrorism.
While taking to journalist at Pakistan embassy in Washington, Fatemi said that the major purpose of his visit was to build up better relations with Trump administration. Fatemi said that bilateral issues of mutual interests, cooperation, economics, governance, regional and other issues were came under discussion during meetings with different US officials.
He said Kashmir issue had been raised specially during the visit. Fatemi said they were hopeful that US President-elect Donald Trump will soon visit Pakistan on the invitation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
