ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan and Commander US Central Command General Kenneth “Frank” McKenzie met at PM House on Monday (today).
According to details, Prime Minister and General Kenneth exchanged thoughts on the present situation of regional security.
Secretary Foreign Affairs Tehmina Janjua and Defense Minister Pervez Khattak were also accompanying Prime Minister Khan during the meeting.
Previously, General Kenneth McKenzie also called on Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi at the Naval Headquarters in the federal capital where both discussed matters related to maritime security.
Moreover, during the meeting, Naval Chief Admiral Zafar briefed the US commander regarding the steps taken by Pakistan Navy to counter terrorism in the maritime sector and piracy.
On Sunday, General McKenzie also met Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa alongside his delegation.
The two generals discussed various affairs including current geostrategic situation, Afghan peace process as well as tensions between Pakistan and India.
