WASHINGTON (May 12, 2017): Trump administration has devised a new strategy for Pakistan and Afghanistan so as to eliminate the terrorism across the region.
According to the US media, the new government will remove the slot of Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan. Under the new policy, the Us government will authorize more powers to the US forces in Kabul.
Three to five thousands more troops will be sent to US with more powers. US President Donald Trump will finalize the new strategy before NATO summit held on May 25 in Brussels.
Sources said that the responsibilities of special envoy will be given to Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs.
