The United States President Joe Biden has told his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy that Washington is releasing one billion US dollars in new security assistance to Kyiv.
According to a statement released by the White House after the telephone call between the two leaders, the U.S. President said that the security assistance will include additional artillery and coastal defense weapons to support their defensive operations in Donbas region of Ukraine.
The US President has also announced 225 million dollars in humanitarian assistance to Ukrainians.
