Islamabad (August 29, 2018): Minister of Industries and Production, Razak Dawood has ordered Utility Stores Corporation to suspend purchases in stores.
According to sources, a notification has been issued to Utility Stores Corporation by Minister of Industries and Production, Razak Dawood to suspend all kinds of procurement in the stores.
Suspension of procurement will result in non-availability of products in Utility Stores. Over 14,000 employees of utility stores corporation have been left in the lurch, after this order of government. 
Sources have said that Minister wants to privatize the Utility Stores Corporation. Closing of utility stores is the first business change by PTI government.
