Lahore: Punjab government has issued a notification extending the lockdown in the province till June 30 while all areas hotspots for coronavirus will remain seal until then.
Shopping centers will also remain shut in these areas while religious gatherings will not be held in the hotspots areas.
As per the notification, grocery stores, tandoors, general stores, medical stores, petrol pumps will remain open in the sealed areas while laboratories and collection centers will remain open around the clock for 24 hours in the sealed areas.
It is also advised to the people to be engaged in the shopping activities with the utmost care for social distancing and precautionary measures.
Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) personnel, lawyers, doctors will get exemption in the lockdown.
The sealed areas of Lahore include 16 areas of Data Gang Bakhsh Town, two areas of Shalimar Town, five areas of Rawi Town, eight areas of Allama Iqbal town, nine areas of Gulberg, seven areas of Wahga Town while four areas in each Cantt, Aziz Bhatti Town, Summonabad will remain sealed.
