ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast countrywide ‘very cold and dry’ weather during the next 24 hours.
The PMD said very cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country; however, cloudy weather conditions are expected to prevail over North Balochistan (Zhob and Quetta divisions), Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan.
It said there are chances of light rain/snow at one or two paces in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Dense foggy conditions would continue in plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh during night and morning hours.
The dense foggy conditions may affect flight operation at Lahore, Sialkot, Multan, Faisalabad airports and flow of traffic on Motorway M2 (Lahore to Pindi Bhattian sector) during night and morning hours.
