Multan: Vice-Chancellor of Nishtar Medical University Dr. Mustafa Kamal succumbed to coronavirus as he was under treatment at one of the cardiology hospital for many days.
The vice-chancellor Dr. Mustafa Kamal Pasha was tested positive for the coronavirus last month after he was shifted to a private hospital, however, after deteriorating health conditions he was transferred to a cardiology hospital where he was on the ventilator for 13 days.

Dr. Mustafa Kamal Pasha was a renowned surgeon while after increasing numbers of the corona patients he left his office work and assumed duties in ward.
His funeral prayers will be held at Nishtar Medical University Hostel ground today.
