Chakwal: Roofs and Walls collapsed incidents have claimed as many as nine lives in district Chakwal of Punjab due to the heavy rains.
The incidents occured in Tehsil Tala Gang and area Ghaghh. The rotten roof a house collapsed Lakhwal area of Tehsil Tala Gang and when debris of the roof feel on the neighboring house then its wall also collapsed which resutled into deaths of four people including three girls while two people sustained injuries as well.
The deceased included 20-year-old Kainat, 17-year-old Mehtab, 10-year-old Aiyaza and 14-year-old Darain. Besides this the roof of a house also collapsed near the DHQ hospital killing uncle and his nephew while two women also sustained injuries.
Rescue officials have shifted dead bodies and injured to the hospital.
On the other hand, three women including a child were killed as wall and roof of a house collapsed in Gagh area in Punjab.
