Newly elected imprisoned Karachi Mayor vowed that he wanted to redress Karachi problems by taking opposition jointly as he better knows all the city problems as he ever did not think to talk against Pakistan.
Talking to media along with his deputy Arshad Vohra he thanked Karachi people who reposed trust in him and said, ” I am not the mayor of MQM but entire Karachi and want to move forward leaving differences behind by taking all the parties along.”
” I have many hopes from chief minister Sindh as if he transfer powers to local bodies representatives Karachi will progress,” he added that each citizen of Karachi wanted to restore peace and children should play in the grounds.
The newly elected mayo left for jail in police van amid MQM workers’ slogans to demand his release.
