WASHINGTON: Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif said that for tackle risks of growing new threats in territory and also dealing with terrorism have required a global effort through sustainable cooperation.
Pakistan has broken terrorism back. US Senators confessed Pakistan Army achievements. Army Chief has visited Capitol Hill and also met US Senate’s Armed Force Committee Chief John Mac Cain and members. In a meeting bilateral issues including US Defence cooperation were came under discussion.
However Army Chief stressed over sustainable cooperation for tackle the growing posing threats from the territory and said that Pak-Afghan management for establishing peace in territory is necessary. Global efforts are also required to wipe out terrorism from territory, Army Chief urged.
In addition US Senators accepted Pakistan Army performance and sacrifices against terrorism and Pakistan Army intention have weakened the terrorists network. US Senators have assured to continue full cooperation from Pakistan in order to eliminate terrorism and extremism from territory.
