Sukkur (July 18, 2018): The Sindh High Court on Wednesday upheld the election tribunal’s verdict to disqualify Pakistan Peoples Party leader Manzoor Wassan from contesting the general elections 2018.
The two-member bench upheld the verdict of the election tribunal that had disqualified Wassan for not disclosing assets.Earlier on May 28, separate pleas for disqualification of PPP Ministers, Nasir Shah and Manzoor Wasan has been lodged in Sindh High Court on Monday.
According to the details, both leaders of the PPP are holding “Iqama”, the applicant stated in his plea against Nasir Shah that he is holding Iqama of UAE from 2009, but he never showed it in his nomination papers, he is not Sadiq and Ameen.

Another plea has been lodged against Manzoor Hussain Wasan, in which applicant has stated that Manzoor Wasan is a shareholder in Dubai’s company, he should be disqualified for not declaring his Iqama.Earlier, the hearing was held in Sindh High Court against Home Minister Sindh, Sohail Anwar Siyal for holding Iqama of UAE on the plea of Allah Bux.
The Applicant stated that Sohail Anwar Siyal not showed his Iqama, as a result, he is not Sadiq and Ameen.
