Hyderabad (January 22, 2018): The water commission headed by former judge Justice Ameer Muslim Hani, formed by the SC to implement apex court orders for the provision of clean drinking water to the masses, has visited the Kotri Industries water Treatment Plant on Monday.
The administration deceived commission telling them water is supplying to horticulture, however the water was being supplied to B-feeder where it is being supplied to Keenjhar lake and Karachi, on which Ameer Muslim collected the samples of the water.
PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh also visited the same place and left his team to record the supply of water through video so that people could be apprised the situation.
It is learnt that the poisonous water flowing out from of Kotri Industries areas and Jamshoro industries and home included in B-Feeder that turned the water contaminated.
PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh had been raising voice for few years against the contaminated water and to halt it supply as drinking water.
Few days ago Haleem Adil was arrived at Kotri treatment plant, where administration had shuts the water supply lines by filling soil amid fear of water commission visit.
