Waqar Younis trusts Pakistan to defeat India in World Cup

Pakistan cricket team coach Waqar Younis showed trust over Green Shirts to defeat India first-time in the World Cup 2015. Younis said that Pakistan was once became world champion and runner-up while the team would also bag record to win against India this time.

Pakistan’s head coach Waqar Younis claimed that Green Shirts would end tradition to lose WC matches against India this time. While addressing a press conference on Friday (today), he said that the team pulled socks up to turn all things favourable for them during the event. He admitted that Pakistan failed to win over India in all previous World Cup tournaments.

He said that Pakistan lost group match against India in World Cup 1992. The head coach claimed that Pakistan was few step ahead to end traditions by beating India to achievement historical milestones in 2015’s World Cup.

Waqar Younis said he was focusing same targets set up by the national teams to exhibit good cricket with unification.

Commenting over questionable performance of experienced Younis Khan, the head coach said that pitch conditions were difficult this time to take batsmen stand strong infront of new ball, however, he expressed his firm confidence over Younis Khan. He said that Younis Khan was an experienced batsman and soon he would regain his performance.
