ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday pledged to build Pakistan as per the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
Addressing a pictorial exhibition in connection with 23rd March titled Pakistan-past, present and future’ she said that it highlighting the vision and thoughts of Quaid-e-Azam and Iqbal was the need of the hour. She added that Quaid-e-Azam had envisioned such a Pakistan all facilities of education, health and other were available.
The Minister of State said as a result of measures taken by the Government, Pakistan soon will be economically developed, free of terrorism and respectful country. She said Pakistan has achieved many successes in war on terror in the last three years.
She pointed out that programmes have been launched in education, health and human rights fields. He referred to Prime Minister’s National Health Programme and Prime Minster’s Education Reforms Programme for Federal Capital.
She said efforts are underway at Federal and provincial governments level for the betterment of the people and development of the country.
Mariyum Aurangzeb said China Pakistan Economic Corridor is a mega project which will bring prosperity to Pakistan.
She said under CPEC, a number of energy projects are being implemented across Pakistan that would end loadshedding in the country.
