ISLAMABAD:Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday has said that we will face no-confidence motion in political, democratic and parliamentary way.
In a statement, the foreign minister expressed his determination to defeat the opposition parties on the matter of no-confidence motion.
Difference in the thinking of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif and vice-president Maryam Nawaz is visible, he added.
On the other hand, Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan wants peace and stability in the region. He said the world community acknowledges the role played by Pakistan to facilitate the Afghan peace process.
The foreign minister regretted that India has not reciprocated to peace overtures of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
“Kashmir is an internationally recognized dispute. India has been violating the basic human rights of Kashmiri people over a long period of time. Indian troops are subjecting to oppression the innocent Kashmiri people,” he asserted.
Qureshi said Pakistan is consistently apprising the world that Kashmir is a flashpoint and its immediate and permanent solution is a must for regional peace and stability.
