Weather: Mainly Cold, Dry with Chances of Rains in Kashmir

Islamabad (December 06, 2017): Weather is expected to remain mainly cold and dry weather over the next 24 hours with very cold weather conditions are likely to continue in Balochistan.

Thunder showers are expected to lash some areas in Azad Kashmir while light snowfall is also expected in the mountainous areas up north.

The Met Department has also forecast shallow fog is likely over few plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours and mild westerly wave affecting upper parts of the country and likely to move eastward.Windy breeze packing cold is expected to blow across Karachi throughout the day today. The weather was hazy and temperature recorded in the city at 8 am  was 17 degree centigrade.

Kalat was the coldest place in the country with minus 12 degree centigrade this morning followed by minus 10 degree in Quetta, minus seven degree in Skardu, minus six degree in Kalam, minus five degree in Dalbandin, and minus four degree centigrade in Gilgit.
