Mainly Cold, Dry Weather to Prevail in Country

Islamabad (December 4, 2017): The Meteorological Department has forecast that a westerly wave is likely to enter upper parts of the country tonight and may persist over th next two to three days.

The Met Department has also predicted that weather will remain mainly cold and dry in most parts of the country.

However, rain-thunderstorms with gusty winds (snowfall over the hills) is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA. Shallow foggy conditions are likely over few plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours.

Quetta remains the coldest place in the country today with minus six degree centigrade followed by Kalam with minus five degree, Skardu minus four, and Gilgit and Gupis with minus four degree centigrade.
