Islamabad (August 2, 2017: Torrential rains flooded the low lying areas of Charsadda while a nine-year-old child died and three others were injured when a roof of a house caved in Shabqadar area here.
The rains also lashed Peshawar and Bannu cities while there are chances of rain in Islamabad, upper Punjab, various parts of Khyber Pakhtwankhwa province, and Gilgit. The weather in cloudy remains cloudy and pleasant with forecast of light rains.

According to details thunder showers lashed in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Peshawar divisions, Kohat, while at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, FATA and Kashmir.
Jhelum received 148 millimeter rain, Gujranwala 60, Sialkot 53, Gujrat 46, Kohat 81, Peshawar 43 and Muzaffarabad 21 millimeter rain.
Over the next 24 hours thunder showers are expected at scattered places in Kashmir, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, D.I. Khan divisions, FATA, and Gilgit-Baltistan during next twelve hours.
Weather in some parts of the country is expected to remain hot and humid.
