Karachi(May 19, 2018): Mercury expected to rise above 40 degrees in Karachi today ones again, says Metrological department on Saturday.
Lack of incoming sea breeze is the primary factor for the scorching temperatures in the metropolitan.
One the sun has peaked and the evening starts blending into nightfall, the sea breeze may gain momentum, pulling temperatures down slightly.
Citizens have been advised to stay indoors during daytime and refrain from or postpone any outdoor activity until absolutely necessary.
On the other hand, K-Electric, the metropolis’ sole supplier of electricity, maintained that it would try its best to not to carry out load-shedding process during sehri and iftar timings.
Multiple areas are facing power cuts for the past three to seven hours.
