Washington (December 05, 2018): White house has confirmed that Trump has sent a letter to PM Imran Khan for seeking help over peace in Afghanistan.
According to spokesman National Security council, Whitehouse has confirmed that US President Trump has written a letter to prime minister Imran Khan. America seeks full coordination with Pakistan to resolve peace in Afghanistan.
Pakistan has accepted Trump’s proposal and will cooperate with sincerity for political settlement in Afghanistan. Pakistan is interested in keeping long lasting peace in Afghanistan.
PM Imran Khan had a meeting with Senior Journalists and Anchors on December 03, 2018, where he exchanged words over the current situation of the country.
In the meeting, PM Imran Khan told the Journalists, in Trump’s letter America sought Pakistan’s help in solving Afghan mess and bring Taliban leadership to the negotiating table.
Other than this, US president Donald Trump praised Pakistan’s efforts in the war against terrorism. To which PM Imran Khan replied, America has finally realized the importance of Partisan’s role in maintaining peace in Afghanistan.
PM Khan also pointed out that Pakistan continued to provide its roads and air space for the re-supply for more than 10,000 U.S. troops currently based in Afghanistan.
