KARACHI: The World Health Organization on Sunday appreciated efforts of Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and measures taken by his government in containing the global epidemic coronavirus.
The WHO spokesman said that the Chief Minister is working day and night to curb the spread of the coronavirus on which SIndh is proud of its dynamic Chief Minister.
The spokesman added that Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar should follow the footsteps of the CM Sindh to stopping the virus in his province.

It is pertinent to mention here that it was the Sindh government who took decision to close educational institutes in the province back in February for the first time in the country and later other provinces also followed the measure.
Today as well Chief Minister Sindh visited various areas in Karachi without any protocol to review measures taken to contain the epidemic coronavirus in the province.
The spokesman for Sindh government Murtaza Wahab was also accompanied the CM during the visit.
Murad Ali Shah inspected arrangements and measures taken in the province to stop spread of the coronavirus.
At the occasion, he said that there is no need of worry for the people what they need to do is to follow principles of health and hygiene strictly.
The CM Sindh also visited a lab as well.
