LAHORE: Captain of national cricket team Misbah-ul-Haq has said that certain people are in a hurry over his retirement but he will keep on playing as long as he is fit.
Talking with media at Gaddafi Stadium here said that he retired from the ODI format of the game at the right time but much Test cricket still remains left for him. Important tournaments including Champions Trophy are coming for which it was necessary to teach the new captain, he added.
The players should not repeat their mistakes in the ongoing Pak-England series, he said. If the Pakistani squad manages to control its weaknesses we could send the coming matches, he added.
