SUKKUR: A woman has allegedly been tortured by her inlaws over giving birth to a baby girl, Abbtakk reported.
According to details inlaws physically tortured their daughter in law after she gave birth to a girl.
As per the statement of the victim’s father, both of her daughter’s hands were cut off and there are prominent wounds of a knife on her neck when he took her to his home in a critical condition.
Victim’s father Zameer Shah said, ‘Police have denied to case the file and have asked for a bribe of 5,000 pkr.
”My daughter was married almost one and a half year ago with a resident of Shikarpur Irfan, who’s a police constable. She gave birth to a baby girl one and half month ago” he added.
He further added that her father-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and her husband used to torture her physically.
Zameer Shah has appealed for help from the concerned authorities, to seek justice for her daughter.
