Women T-20: Pakistan To Face South Africa Today

BENONI: The fourth T-20 international of the five-match series between Pakistan Women and South Africa Women will be played in Benoni on Wednesday (today).

Pakistan Women are leading the series 2-1.

Earlier on Sunday, Pakistan women beat South Africa women by four wickets in the third T20I in Pietermaritzburg.

Iram Javed hit a gutsy half-century, while Nida Dar and Aliya Riaz made useful contributions to steer Pakistan women to a four-wicket victory over Proteas.

Iram had scored 55 off 45 balls with six fours and six as Pakistan achieved the 139-run target with two balls and four wickets to spare to go 2-1 ahead in the five-match series.Nida Dar and Iram Javed took the field and provided their side a much-needed momentum as they played some brilliant shots. However, in the 12th over Moseline Daniels got hold of Dar (32).

Aliya Riaz then joined Iram who kept on hammering boundaries and scored her half-century. Moseline Daniels then took the wicket of Aliya in the 18th over which halted her 30-run inning.

South Africa’s Shabnim Ismail took two wickets while Moseline Daniels picked up three wickets.
