ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (R) Javed Iqbal on Friday said that he will not cave into any sort of pressure and will continue to carry out his mission of holding the corrupt accountable.
According to sources, Chairman NAB is being pressurized to take a U-turn on some important references but he himself is standing firm that he will not bow down before any pressure.
Chairman NAB said, “He is being pressurized to take back some important references but the former refuses to cave in to any pressure.
“I will carry out my mission to hold the corrupt accountable as its part of my duty,” he added.
He said, “I only fear to Allah Almighty and will not bow down before anyone.”
After Chairman NAB’s refusal some controversial images were leaked on social media which were tempered with perfection.
Sources have further revealed that when the Chairman was contacted he admitted the rumours that he is being caved into pressure for taking back some important references but he will continue to carry out his mission regardless of the circumstances.
