Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says the world is appreciating Pakistan’s efforts for peace in Afghanistan.
In a statement today (Wednesday), he said we stand with peace and stability.
The Minister said the next couple of weeks and months are very important in respect of Afghan peace process.
He said withdrawal of the allied forces from Afghanistan has been done by fifty percent, and the process continues.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi urged the Afghan leadership to understand the gravity of the situation and find a political solution to the Afghan issue.
He said war and fighting have already caused a huge loss in Afghanistan.
He said we have reached an understanding with the Afghan leadership that they will not let their soil be used against Pakistan and we have also been pursuing a clear policy that we will not allow anyone to use our land against Afghanistan or any other country.
